Medical Scientific and Cassona Global Imaging have partnered to make mammograms accessible to women in Ghana and Nigeria, for early detection and treatment of breast cancer.

The partnership will ensure that women and health institutions have access to state-of-the-art mammograms at affordable prices to help reduce screening procedure costs and encourage women to regularly undergo breast cancer screening.

The leadership of Cassona and Medical Scientific signed a exclusive distribution agreement in Accra to formalize the partnership.

Mr. Chigbu of Cassona said by partnering with Medical Scientific, the company would ensure the supply of affordable mammograms in Ghana and Nigeria to boost breast cancer awareness and treatment. He said the partnership was aimed to supply affordable and efficient medical imaging equipment to local health institutions and build local expertise to operate and repair such systems.
